2.2 Update Released: New AI Story Generator, Script Review System, Outro CTAs & more

Hey creators, we've packed more improvements in Autopilot Shorts 2.2! Let's dive into what's new.

Update #1: New AI Story Generator

Creating engaging short-form videos just got even better with our redesigned story generator interface. We've focused on giving you more control and flexibility over your content creation process.

The biggest change is our new adjustable video duration system:

• Free users: Up to 15 seconds (~35 words)
• Starter plan: Up to 60 seconds
• Daily & Elite plans: Up to 120 seconds - perfect for in-depth storytelling!

Now within every new video, you have the opportunity to switch categories, offering more flexibility to creators. The new optional context field lets you guide the AI's creativity more precisely - want a spooky basement story? Just give the AI a hint and watch it work its magic.

For those who love precision, we've added an automatic pause insertion feature using <break time="1.5s" /> tags. For shorter pauses emdashes (—) to pause your script, and the AI will automatically insert the pauses. Feel free to mix and match these features to create the perfect video short.

Update #2: Script Review System

You asked and we've listened! Some creators have been asking for a script review system. We've added a toggle to enable or disable the script review system.

When enabled, creators will be notified by email to review their upcoming video before the countdown ends. Auto-production automatically starts when no action is taken.

Update #3: Video Outro & CTA

First impressions matter, but endings seal the deal! Our new outro and call-to-action system helps you end your videos with impact.

You can now craft the perfect outro with up to 70 characters, automatically narrated by our text-to-speech AI providers OpenAI & Elevenlabs for that professional touch. Want to showcase your brand? Upload your custom outro logo (800x800 PNG with transparency) and watch it seamlessly integrate with your video's ending.

The feature is completely flexible - enable or disable it as needed. It's all about giving you the tools to grow your audience effectively.

Update #4: Caption System Overhaul

Good captions make videos accessible and engaging - that's why we've completely revamped our caption system.

Your videos now feature full punctuation support for natural reading flow, along with precisely timed captions that stay perfectly synced with the audio. We've enhanced caption positioning and formatting while fixing various bugs that were affecting the viewing experience.

Behind the scenes, we've made substantial improvements to our caption generation stability. This means more accurate, reliable captions that enhance your videos rather than distract from them.
